Anfield Stadium
Since the beginning of the English League, the Liverpool has played in Anfield Stadium. The stadium was first built in 1884 and did not hold too many people at least not by today’s standards (only 20,000 seats) The current seating capacity is 45,362.
A new stadium is being built just 300 yards away from the original stadium; the new home of the Liverpool Football Club is the Stanley Park Stadium. The new stadium is scheduled to be completed sometime in 2011.
